Hardwoods of Michigan Inc, is a sawmill and kiln drying operation located in Clinton, MI; in addition, we own Walker Lumber Company in Woodland, PA. Our assets include a unique system by which all of our 200 plus employees participate in management and production standards assuring Hardwoods of Michigan’s customers the value and service they come to depend on. This aggressive participation by the employees also maintains Hardwoods of Michigan’s competitive edge in the industry. Hardwood of Michigan’s monthly production is 2MM’ per month. This footage allows for a growth volume for existing customers and allows new customers the opportunity to experience our product line. A 2.3MM’ pre-dryer simulates ideal drying conditions (a controlled moisture gradient), resulting in less drying degrade and fresher, brighter lumber. Our board for board inspection after surfacing provides us the final look at your lumber maintaining consistency and earning your confidence shipment after shipment.
