We had good success
this year selling the Redi-Rip program to several of our
millwork customers here in our market in
Northern California
. Our customers have liked the fact that they now know
their accurate lineal costs on their product. It's no
longer guesswork for them. They also like the fact
that they are able to control their inventory better by
having sizes in stock instead of guessing what they might
get from a unit of random width lumber.
It has also
helped speed up their production by eliminating one step for
them. So far it has been a very successful program for
us and we intend to grow it next year.
